Hello we have Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection deployed on our network, that currently serves all Windows systems we have, we are working on extending this to the Mac OS as well and was curious to know if the Mac systems need to be on the domain in order to deploy and manage SCEP to Mac's or can these be standalone systems? I do know that i can have these discovered based on AD membership or Network discovery, but unsure if i have to have them as domain members to manage these. Yes i know i could test this, but i would have to go through setting up more systems (Certificate Servers, integrating it with Configuration Manager etc.) to get to even try and deploy to Mac's using the SC console. I was however able to manually install the SCEP client for Mac on stand alone systems and that does appear to work, but no reporting back to the Endpoint Server and no ability to control or manage these.
